Branded aprons for companies with your logo

Branded aprons for businesses are worn all day and in front of customers: in a kitchen, behind a bar or at a tasting stand. That is why the fabric, the length of the ties and where the logo sits matter more than the catalogue colour.

The fabric decides how many washes it can take

The difference between an apron that starts to sag after a few months and one that stands up to daily use comes down to the fabric. A 65/35 polyester-cotton bib apron in 190-220 g/m² will usually cope with washes at 60 °C, hardly shrinks and dries quickly: it is the standard in hospitality and bakeries. A 100 % cotton canvas in 240-320 g/m² hangs better and ages more gracefully, and is the usual choice in gourmet shops, tastings and local food retail, although it does shrink a little on the first wash and takes longer to dry.

Linen and linen-cotton blends are more for chef-led kitchens and gifts: they drape very well, but stand up less well to daily use. Denim is the option for barbers, speciality coffee shops and workshops, where the apron is part of the venue’s look.

Size, ties and neck strap: ergonomics matter

A standard bib apron measures 70 × 90 cm and covers from the sternum to the knee; for taller people or front-of-house service, 75 × 100 cm is a better fit. Ties of 100-120 cm are long enough to fasten at the front, which is how almost everyone wears it, and an adjustable neck strap with buckle avoids rubbing on the back of the neck during long shifts.

The pocket matters too: kangaroo for kitchen use, divided for pens and order pads, triple for the sommelier. And because an apron does not come in sizes in the strict sense, it is one of the easiest garments to order for a whole team.

What you can personalise

  • The logo: embroidered on the chest or pocket, up to around 10 cm wide, or screen printed and transferred for large logos or designs with several colours.
  • The colour, from those available for each style. Dark shades (black, anthracite, burgundy) hide stains better; white calls for high-temperature washing.
  • The position: on the chest, so it is visible from the front; on the pocket, for a more discreet finish. A second position is included in the quote.
  • Each person’s name: if you need it under the logo, ask when requesting a quote, because it depends on the style and the technique.

Where aprons with logo work well

In hospitality and food retail, the apron is part of the uniform: bars, bakeries, greengrocers, gourmet shops and food trucks. Here, hard-wearing fabric and a dark colour matter most, and it usually goes with the rest of your custom workwear. At trade shows and brand activations, it is what makes a stand with live cooking or tasting read as a brand from a distance; pair it with the rest of your event merchandise so the team looks consistent.

In companies without a customer-facing kitchen, there are two clear uses: team-building cookery workshops and gifting. A canvas bib apron with a small logo on the chest gets used at home, takes up little space and does not depend on size. If you want it included in a welcome pack with other products, the Pekata welcome pack team handles that as a separate service.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Branded aprons for companies with your logo

If yours is not here, write to us. People answer, not an automatic form.

What fabric is best for a hospitality apron?

65/35 polyester-cotton in 190-220 g/m²: it stands up to frequent high-temperature washing, hardly shrinks and dries quickly. Cotton canvas hangs better and looks more substantial, but shrinks a little and takes longer to dry. Linen is more for gifting or chef-led kitchens.

Embroidery or screen printing on an apron?

Embroidery stands up to more washes and looks better on heavier fabrics such as canvas or denim, with a logo up to around 10 cm on the chest. Screen printing makes more sense for volume and large logos with few colours. For gradients or photographic artwork, digital transfer.

What size is a bib apron?

The standard size is 70 × 90 cm, from the sternum to the knee. For taller people or front-of-house service, 75 × 100 cm. A bistro-style waist apron is usually around 70 × 40 cm.

Bib apron or waist apron?

A bib apron protects all your clothing and is the one for kitchens, bakeries and any role where people get messy. A waist apron leaves the shirt or polo of the uniform visible and is the usual option for front of house and bar staff.

Can an apron with logo be washed at 60 °C?

Polyester-cotton ones usually can; 100 % cotton canvas shrinks at that temperature and linen needs less. Embroidery holds up well, while transfer is better at 40 °C and inside out. Always follow the care label for each style.

Can each employee’s name be added to their apron?

Ask when requesting a quote: it depends on the style and the technique, and it is quoted separately from the standard branding. The usual option is a small line of text under the logo, in the same colour.
