Lasts as long as the garment

The thread doesn't crack or peel off in the wash. The fabric is what wears out first.

Best on fabric with some body

Embroidery looks good on sweatshirts, jackets and T-shirts of medium or heavy weight. On thin cotton it pulls the fabric and puckers the area around the logo.

Flat colours and a compact logo

Each colour is a separate thread, so gradients get simplified. Letters under about 5 mm high lose definition.

Sweatshirts, quilted jackets and aprons folded and stacked on an office shelf

Embroidered clothing for teams, offices and events

Embroidery is the go-to technique for clothing that gets worn and washed a lot: the team sweatshirt, the jacket for event staff, or the shirt and apron of whoever serves customers. A small logo on the chest reads as a quality garment.

It also works for new-starter welcome packs and trade show clothing. You can embroider the same logo on several garments within a single quote and reach the minimum order of CZK 2,447 excl. VAT by combining them.

How embroidery is done and which fabrics suit it

The logo is digitised in a stitching program and an embroidery machine sews it onto the garment, held taut in a hoop with a backing behind it. Garments come in cotton, cotton and polyester or technical fabric, many with OEKO-TEX certification and options in organic cotton or recycled material.

Besides flat embroidery there is 3D embroidery, sewn over foam to give a raised finish to logos with bold shapes, and printed or engraved leather patches for logos with a lot of detail. On waterproof fabrics every stitch pierces the material: the product page says whether the model can be embroidered and where.

How to choose the garment to embroider

Type of garment
Hooded or crew-neck sweatshirts, quilted jackets, softshells, windbreakers, shirts, aprons and gilets. For T-shirts, choose a medium or heavy weight.
Weight and composition
The heavier the fabric, the better it holds embroidery. Cotton with some body and fleece are good bases; for technical and waterproof garments, check the product page for the permitted areas.
Technique to suit the logo
Flat embroidery for simple chest logos, 3D embroidery for bold raised shapes, and a printed or engraved leather patch if there are gradients or small lettering.
Certifications and sustainability
You can filter by OEKO-TEX, amfori BSCI, OCS, GRS or GOTS, and by organic cotton or recycled material.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about embroidered work clothes

If yours is not here, write to us. People answer, not an automatic form.

How long does an embroidered logo last?

As long as the garment does: the thread doesn't crack or peel off in the wash. Wash the garment inside out at 30 or 40 °C and don't iron over the embroidery.

How big should an embroidered chest logo be?

Between 6 and 8 cm wide is typical. Smaller and the text gets lost; larger and the embroidery becomes heavy and pulls the fabric. The maximum size for each area is on the product page.

Can a logo with gradients be embroidered?

Not as it is: thread works in flat colours, so gradients get simplified. If the gradient is essential to your brand, a printed patch or a digital transfer reproduces it better.

Can a thin T-shirt be embroidered?

It can, but on thin cotton the embroidery pulls the fabric and the T-shirt puckers around the logo. For lightweight T-shirts, screen printing or a digital transfer works better; embroidery looks best on medium or heavy weights.

What file do I need to embroider my logo?

Ideally a vector file (SVG, AI or PDF), with the colours given as Pantone references so we can pick the closest thread. If you only have a PNG or JPG, we'll check it and tell you whether it will do.

How do I know what it will look like before I pay?

You get a free mock-up with your logo on the garment, and you pay once you approve it, before production. If the embroidery comes out defective or doesn't match the mock-up, it is redone at no cost.
